Kanban Plugin – Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Kanban Plugin (“the Plugin”), a product owned and operated by S-Tier Dev (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Plugin, you (“you”, “your”, “Customer”) agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.

1. Definitions

  • Plugin: The Kanban Plugin WordPress plugin and all related code, assets, and materials.
  • License: The rights granted to you to use the Plugin.
  • API Key: The unique key associated with your license used for activation of Pro features, and verification.
  • Lifetime License: Defined in Section 4.
  • Website: Any WordPress installation on which the Plugin is installed.
  • Client Website: A website owned by your customer for which you provide development or maintenance services.

2. Eligibility

Our Plugin is available for purchase and use by all individuals and businesses worldwide.
There is no minimum age requirement to purchase or use the Plugin, provided you have legal permission to complete online transactions in your jurisdiction.

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of websites permitted by your license tier.

You may use your license on:

  • Websites you own, and
  • Client websites that you manage, build, or maintain.

The license is granted only to the original purchaser and may not be resold, transferred, or reassigned.

4. Lifetime License Definition

A “lifetime license” grants you access to updates and support for as long as the Plugin is actively maintained and offered for sale.
It does not guarantee service for the lifetime of the purchaser or any fixed period.

We may discontinue the Plugin at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Plugin, API key, or license in any form.
  • Share your API key outside your organization or with unrelated third parties.
  • Use the license on more websites than allowed by your license tier.
  • Reverse engineer, clone, or modify the Plugin for redistribution.
  • Bundle the Plugin into a SaaS offering, client portal, or digital product without written permission.

However, you are explicitly allowed to install the Plugin and activate your license on client websites you manage or develop, provided the license remains under your ownership.

6. API Key Usage & Enforcement

Your license includes a unique API key used to:

  • Activate the Pro features of the Plugin,
  • Enable updates,
  • Validate proper license usage.

We may monitor API key usage patterns to detect unauthorized distribution or misuse.

If abuse is detected (e.g., reselling, mass unauthorized activations, sharing keys publicly), we may:

  • Suspend or permanently revoke the API key,
  • Disable access to Pro features, updates, or license activation,
  • Restrict future purchases,
  • Take legal action when appropriate.

We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before revocation unless immediate action is required.

7. Updates & Support

Pro features and support are included for the duration of your license.

Support includes:

  • General guidance
  • Installation or configuration inquiries
  • Receiving bug reports

Support does not include:

  • Custom development
  • Website configuration beyond the Plugin
  • Direct bug fixes on your website

If a bug report is valid and reproducible, we will address it in a future Plugin update.
We do not provide immediate or direct bug fixes to individual websites.

Support is provided only to the original purchaser.

8. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase.

Refunds may be granted if:

  • You experience a technical issue that we cannot resolve, or
  • The Plugin does not function as described.

Refunds are not available after 14 days or in cases where the license has been misused.

9. Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Plugin, including all code, branding, and documentation, is owned by S-Tier Dev.
You receive a right to use the Plugin, not ownership of the Plugin or its underlying intellectual property.

10. Third-Party Dependencies

The Plugin relies on WordPress and may interact with other third-party tools.
We are not responsible for incompatibilities caused by updates, outages, or failures related to third-party software.

11. Limited Warranty

The Plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:

  • Compatibility with all themes, plugins, servers, or hosting environments;
  • Error-free performance;
  • That it will meet your specific requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, S-Tier Dev shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages,
  • Data loss,
  • Downtime or service interruption,
  • Conflicts caused by third-party plugins, themes, or hosting environments.

Because Kanban Plugin is a project management tool intended for productivity support, but not business-critical infrastructure, we do not accept liability for operational losses such as missed deadlines, scheduling issues, or task management errors that may arise from its use.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Plugin.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold S-Tier Dev harmless from claims or damages resulting from misuse of the Plugin or violations of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you:

  • Violate these Terms,
  • Misuse or distribute your API key,
  • Attempt to resell or redistribute the Plugin.

Upon termination:

  • Your license and API key will be revoked,
  • You must remove the Plugin from all websites,
  • No refunds will be issued.

15. Amendments to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Updates take effect when posted on our website.
Continued use of the Plugin indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Belgrade, Serbia.
